The LEGO® Technic™ Distance Sensor is a high-accuracy ultrasonic sensor designed for advanced robotics and STEAM education. It measures distances from 1 to 200 cm with ±1 cm accuracy, enabling robots to detect objects, avoid obstacles, follow paths, and interact intelligently with their environment.
The sensor features programmable LED “eyes” that provide visual feedback and add character to robotics builds. It also includes an integrated industry-standard 6-pin interface, allowing compatibility with third-party sensors, boards, and DIY hardware for extended learning and experimentation.
