Collectibles, LEGO & Hobby Products 5 questions
How do I choose the correct diecast scale?
The scale indicates the model's size relative to the real vehicle. For example, a 1:64 model is much smaller than a 1:18 model. Approximate lengths vary by the size of the real vehicle, so check the individual listing for dimensions and product details.
Are all diecast models suitable for children to play with?
No. Some diecast models are intended primarily for adult collectors and may contain small or delicate parts. Always check the manufacturer's age recommendation and the product description.

LEGO FAQs 18 questions

Before you buy

Is this an original LEGO set?
We aim to offer genuine products sourced through our established supplier and distribution network, and LEGO sets come in sealed retail boxes. Some sets are parallel imports, which is stated on the product page. If you have a question about a specific set or its packaging, please contact us before ordering.
How do I choose the right set for an age?
Every LEGO box shows a recommended age, such as 4+, 6+, 9+ or 18+. The number reflects build difficulty, not safety alone. DUPLO is designed for toddlers (1½+), while 18+ sets are detailed display models for adult builders.
What does the piece count tell me?
The piece count gives you an idea of the size and build time. Small sets under 300 pieces usually take under an hour, while sets with 1,000+ pieces can take several hours or a few sessions.
What is the difference between LEGO themes?
Each theme has its own style. City and Friends are play sets for kids, Technic uses gears and functions, Speed Champions are buildable cars, Creator 3-in-1 sets build three models, and Icons, Ideas, Architecture, Art and Botanicals are display sets for adults.
Is LEGO compatible with my older LEGO bricks?
Yes. LEGO bricks made today connect with LEGO bricks from decades ago. DUPLO bricks also connect on top of standard LEGO bricks.
Does the set need batteries or an app?
Most sets don't. Powered sets, such as some Technic and LEGO Education kits, need batteries or an app. When a set needs them, it's mentioned on the box and in the product details.
Are the decorations stickers or printed?
It varies by set. Some sets use printed pieces and others include a sticker sheet that you apply while building. The instructions show where each sticker goes.

Rare, retired & new sets

What does 'retired' mean?
LEGO produces most sets for a limited time, usually one to three years. Once a set is retired, LEGO stops making it, so stock becomes limited and prices can rise.
Will an out-of-stock set come back?
If the set is still in LEGO's current range, we try to restock it. Retired sets may not return once our stock runs out.
Do you sell upcoming sets?
Yes, check our Lego-Upcoming collection. Availability depends on the official India launch and stock allocation.
What are Collectible Minifigures?
Collectible Minifigure packs contain one minifigure from a series. Some series come in sealed blind packs, so the character inside may be a surprise unless the listing says otherwise.

Building & parts

Are instructions included?
Yes, printed instructions are in the box. You can also find digital instructions for most sets in the free LEGO Builder app or on LEGO's website.
Why are the bags numbered?
Large sets are split into numbered bags that match the steps in the instructions. Open bag 1 first and continue in order. It makes building much easier.
I have extra small pieces left over. Is that a mistake?
No. LEGO adds spare small pieces on purpose because they are easy to lose.
What if a piece is missing or broken?
First check all the bags and the spare pieces, because tiny parts often hide in the box. If a piece is still missing, contact us with your order number and the set number. LEGO also runs an official replacement-parts service on its website.
How do I clean LEGO bricks?
Wash bricks by hand in lukewarm water (below 40°C) with a mild soap and let them air dry. Don't use a dishwasher, washing machine or hot water, because heat can warp bricks. Wipe printed and stickered parts gently with a damp cloth.

Box & condition

Will the box be in perfect condition?
We pack LEGO sets carefully. Boxes can still pick up small dents or scuffs in transit, which don't affect the set inside. If you collect sealed boxes and need mint condition, contact us before ordering.
Do you sell LEGO Education sets for schools?
Yes. We stock LEGO Education kits for classrooms and STEM labs. For school or bulk orders, contact us for a quotation.
Model Train FAQs 14 questions

Getting started

What's the difference between a toy train and a hobby-grade model train?
Hobby-grade trains are track-powered scale models with realistic detail, built for layouts and collectors. They run on metal rails powered by a controller, unlike battery or musical toy trains.
What do I need to get started?
A starter set is the easiest way to begin. It usually includes a locomotive, a few wagons or coaches, an oval of track and a power controller. You can extend it later with more track, points and rolling stock.
Is a model train suitable for children?
Hobby-grade trains are designed for teens and adults, or for younger children with adult supervision. They have small parts and run on electricity. Check the age rating on the box.

Scale & gauge

What do HO, OO, N and Z mean?
These are standard model railway scales. HO is 1:87 (the most popular worldwide), OO is 1:76 (common in the UK), N is 1:160 and Z is 1:220. Smaller scales fit bigger layouts in less space.
Can HO and OO run on the same track?
Yes. HO and OO use the same track gauge (16.5 mm), so they run on the same rails. OO models are slightly larger, so they can look out of proportion next to HO models.
Is ALPHALINE HO scale?
Yes. Our in-house ALPHALINE trains are HO scale (1:87).

Track & power

What is DC and DCC?
DC (analogue) controls the whole track with one controller, so all locomotives on it move together. DCC (digital) uses a decoder inside each locomotive, so you can run several trains independently on the same track.
Can a DC locomotive run on a DCC layout?
Not reliably. A DC locomotive needs a DCC decoder fitted to run on a DCC system. Many locomotives are 'DCC ready', meaning a decoder can be plugged in.
Are tracks from different brands compatible?
Most two-rail track in the same scale shares the same gauge, but rail height (such as Code 100 or Code 83), joiners and curve geometry can differ, so you may need adapter track. Märklin uses a three-rail AC system that isn't compatible with two-rail DC trains. Contact us if you are mixing brands.
What does curve radius mean (R1, R2, R3)?
Radius is the size of a curve. R1 is the tightest and R2, R3 and above are wider. Long locomotives and coaches need wider curves to run smoothly, so check the minimum radius on the listing.
Will it work on Indian power (230V)?
Check the controller's input voltage on the listing. Sets made for 230V work directly, while sets built for 110–120V need a suitable step-down converter.

Care & running

Why does my locomotive stutter or stop?
Usually because the track or wheels are dirty. Clean the rails with a track cleaning rubber and wipe the wheels gently. Also check that the track joints are tight.
Do locomotives need oiling?
Yes, occasionally. A tiny drop of hobby-grade oil on the moving parts after many hours of running keeps them smooth. Follow the locomotive's manual and never over-oil.
Do all couplers connect to each other?
Not always. Brands and regions use different couplers (for example knuckle couplers on US models and NEM pockets on European models). Many can be swapped with replacement couplers.
RC Toy FAQs 11 questions

Choosing

What's the difference between toy-grade and hobby-grade RC?
Toy-grade RC cars are simple and made for kids. Hobby-grade RC cars are faster, with proportional steering and throttle, stronger suspension and replaceable spare parts.
What does RTR mean?
RTR means Ready To Run. The car comes assembled with a controller, so you only need to charge the battery before driving.
Brushed or brushless motor?
Brushed motors are simpler and great for beginners. Brushless motors are more powerful, faster and last longer, and are used in higher-performance models.
Is it for indoor or outdoor use?
It depends on the model. Off-road and monster trucks are built for outdoor terrain, while smaller cars and drift cars are better on smooth floors.

Batteries & charging

Are batteries included?
This varies by product. Many RC cars include a rechargeable battery for the car, while the controller may need AA batteries. The listing mentions what is included.
How long does it run on one charge?
Run time depends on the model, battery and driving style. Check the specifications on the product page.
How do I care for a rechargeable battery?
Use only the supplied charger, never leave a charging battery unattended, let a hot battery cool before recharging, and store it partly charged in a cool, dry place.

Using it

Can two RC cars run at the same time?
Most models use 2.4GHz controllers, which pair with their own car, so several cars can run together without interference.
What is the control range?
Range depends on the model and is listed in the specifications. Keep the car in sight and away from roads.
Is it waterproof?
Only models marked waterproof or water-resistant can handle puddles and splashes. Never submerge an RC car unless the brand says it's built for water.
Can I return a drone or flying toy?
Returns are not accepted on drones and other flying toys. If it arrives damaged or defective, contact us with your order number, photos and an unboxing video. See our Returns Policy.
Die-cast Model FAQs 19 questions

Scale & size

What do 1:64, 1:43, 1:32, 1:24 and 1:18 mean?
The scale shows how many times smaller the model is than the real vehicle. As a rough guide for a normal car: 1:64 is about 7–8 cm long, 1:43 about 10–11 cm, 1:32 about 14–15 cm, 1:24 about 18–20 cm and 1:18 about 25–28 cm. Bigger real vehicles make bigger models.
Why are two 1:64 cars from different brands slightly different in size?
Toy-grade lines often adjust the size so every car fits the same packaging, so a bus and a hatchback can end up similar sizes. Collector brands like MiniGT, Tarmac Works and INNO64 follow true scale much more closely.
Can I display different collector brands together?
Yes. Collector 1:64 brands generally sit well together on one shelf or diorama.

Brands & grades

What's the difference between toy-grade and collector-grade die-cast?
Toy-grade models, like Hot Wheels mainlines or Majorette, are built for play and are budget friendly. Collector-grade models, like MiniGT, Tarmac Works, Kaido House or INNO64, have accurate proportions, detailed paint and printed logos, rubber tyres, and are meant for display.
What is the difference between Hot Wheels Mainline and Premium?
Mainlines are the everyday Hot Wheels cars with plastic wheels and a plastic base. Premium lines, such as Car Culture, Boulevard and Pop Culture, have metal bases, Real Riders rubber tyres and more detailed decoration.
What are Treasure Hunts and Super Treasure Hunts?
They are special cars randomly mixed into Hot Wheels mainline cases. Regular Treasure Hunts carry a flame logo; Super Treasure Hunts have Spectraflame paint, Real Riders rubber tyres and a 'TH' marking. Because they are random, availability depends on what each case contains.
What is a MiniGT chase car?
A chase is a rare variant randomly inserted into MiniGT production, often with different paint, wheels or finish. Chase cars are hard to find and are highly collectible.
What is Kaido House?
Kaido House is a premium 1:64 line, made in collaboration with MiniGT, with custom JDM, tuner and racing styles. Many models include special packaging and extra detail.
Do the doors or bonnet open?
Most 1:64 collector models are sealed with no opening parts. Many 1:24 and 1:18 models from brands like Maisto and Bburago have opening doors, bonnet and boot. Opening parts are mentioned on each listing when available.
Is the model left-hand drive or right-hand drive?
Some brands, especially MiniGT, release separate LHD and RHD versions. The listing mentions it when the information is available. Check carefully if you want a specific version.

Packaging

What is a blister pack?
A blister pack is a printed card with a clear plastic bubble holding the car. If the product title says (Blister Pack), it comes in this format.
What are window boxes and acrylic cases?
A window box is a cardboard box with a clear window. Some premium models come in a hard acrylic display case. The packaging type is mentioned on each listing.
Will the card or box be in perfect mint condition?
We pack every model with extra protection. Blister cards and boxes are made in the factory and may still have minor marks, soft corners or small creases, which don't affect the model itself. If you need card-perfect condition, contact us before ordering.
Can I get a protector case for my blister pack?
Yes, clear protector cases help keep cards flat and clean. Ask us which protectors we currently have in stock.

Care & safety

Is a die-cast model suitable for kids?
Toy-grade cars are made for play. Collector models have small, delicate parts like mirrors and wipers and are best for display and older collectors. Not suitable for children under 3 because of small parts.
How do I care for and display my models?
Keep models away from direct sunlight and humidity to protect paint and packaging. Dust with a soft brush, and use display cases to keep them clean.
Are limited editions really limited?
We only mark a model as limited when the brand states it. Many collector models are produced in small batches and may not be restocked once sold out.
Do you take pre-orders?
Pre-orders are offered on selected upcoming releases. Look for the pre-order label on the product page.
Can I return a diecast model?
Certain diecast collectibles, including Hot Wheels products, are excluded from returns or exchanges under our current policy. If an item arrives damaged, defective or incorrect, contact us with photos and a continuous, unedited unboxing video from the sealed parcel. See our Returns Policy.
Action Figure & Statue FAQs 11 questions

Size & type

What size is the figure?
Figure lines usually follow standard sizes: 6-inch (about 1:12 scale, like Marvel Legends), 7-inch (like McFarlane and many NECA lines), and 1:6 scale (about 30 cm, like Hot Toys). Each listing mentions the size when the brand provides it.

Does it come with a stand?
It depends on the figure. Statues have a base, and many collector figures include a display stand. Check the product details.
Is the packaging collector-friendly?
Most collector figures come in window boxes that let you display them unopened. Boxes are factory made and may have minor shelf wear, which doesn't affect the figure.

Condition & care

The paint is slightly different from the photos. Is that normal?
Yes, small paint variations between pieces are normal in factory-painted figures. Product photos are often official prototype images.
A joint feels stiff or loose. What should I do?
New joints are often stiff. Gently warm the joint with a hair dryer on low heat for a few seconds and move it slowly. Never force a joint, and contact us if a part seems defective.
How do I keep my figures in good condition?
Keep them out of direct sunlight to prevent fading, dust them with a soft brush, and avoid leaving soft plastic figures in tight poses for long periods.
Is it suitable for children?
Many collector figures have small, delicate parts and are made for collectors. Check the age rating on the listing.
