KalaKari is a two-in-one Diwali craft kit. You paint lotus-inspired MDF wall décor and decorate four clay diyas to go with it. Air-dry clay lets you sculpt your own raised details, and a design sheet and tracing sheet help you plan them. Make a Shubh Labh-style piece like the samples, or go with your own colours and patterns – the result is a matching handmade wall-and-diya set for your festive display.
How to create: paint the MDF cutouts and clay diyas, knead and roll out the air-dry clay, use the design and tracing sheets to shape your clay details, let the clay dry, then paint it and attach the details with the included glue. Allow everything to dry fully before displaying.
This is a DIY kit; the finished pieces shown are examples. Flowers, string lights and tealight candles shown in the photographs are styling props and are not included.
