Based on EMD's 2,000-horsepower GP38-2 diesel-electric road switcher, this model is DCC Ready with a factory-installed 21-pin socket for decoder installation. It features a precision motor, all-wheel drive, die-cast frame, directional headlights, and roadname-specific dynamic brake configuration. The locomotive performs best on 18-inch radius curves or greater and measures 8.5 inches long, 1.5 inches wide, and 2 inches high.
