Finished in a distinctive blue-and-white Boston & Maine livery, this O Scale model recreates the practical styling of the EMD NW-2 diesel switcher used for yard work, freight handling and short-distance operations.
The locomotive features dual-motor drive with flywheel coasting action, all-metal gears and wheels, traction-equipped four-wheel trucks and an electronic reverse board with directional lockout. Its True Blast Plus 16-bit sound system produces prime-mover, horn and bell sounds, while dual headlights enhance operation on an O Gauge layout.
A durable ABS body, die-cast frame, trucks and operating couplers provide dependable construction for regular layout use. Measuring approximately 12 inches long and 4 inches high, the locomotive is designed to navigate O-27 curves.
