The Williams by Bachmann Union Pacific FA-1 Powered A & FB-1 Dummy B Diesel Locomotive Set is an O Scale (1:48) three-rail locomotive set featuring Union Pacific road numbers 1501 and 1525. Based on the American Locomotive Company (ALCO) FA-1, the powered A unit and dummy B unit are designed for operation on three-rail O Gauge track and navigate O-27 curves.
The powered FA-1 locomotive features 4-wheel power trucks with traction tires, dual motors, flywheel coasting action, all-metal gears, and an electronic 6-amp reverse board with directional lock-out. It is also equipped with True Blast® Plus 16-bit polyphonic sound, including prime mover, horn, and bell.
Additional features include a durable ABS plastic shell, die-cast trucks, truck sides, and pilots, individually installed grabrails, front headlights, etched metal grilles covering the side vents and roof fan, die-cast operating front couplers, upgraded window parts, and separately applied windshield wipers.
