Rang Rasa turns traditional rangoli into a sit-down sand art activity. You colour MDF cutouts with sand, then arrange them however you like – at the doorstep, on a table or around your pooja space. No freehand drawing is needed, and nothing gets swept away at the end of the evening: the finished pieces can be rearranged and put out again next festive season.
A lovely Diwali activity to do together as a family, and a creative festive gift.
How to use: arrange the MDF cutouts in a design you like, apply glue to one section at a time, spread your chosen sand colour over it, and repeat with the remaining sections. For a more vibrant finish, apply two coats of sand.
Tealight candles shown in the photographs are for styling and are not included.
Product Highlights
Rangoli without the mess – sand is glued onto MDF cutouts section by section, so your design stays put and doesn't smudge underfoot.
Arrange it your way – mix and match the cutouts into a layout that fits your entrance, corner or table.
Display year after year – the finished MDF pieces can be stored and reused for future festivals.
All-in-one kit – MDF cutouts, sand colours, glue and tools included, so you can start straight away.
Festive family activity – recommended for ages 10+, great for kids, teens and adults crafting together.
