The LEGO® Education Computer Science & AI Kit for Grades 6-8 (45522) is a classroom-ready, standards-aligned solution that teaches middle-school students real coding and AI concepts through hands-on building. Students build motorised LEGO models, then program them using the free LEGO Education Coding Canvas – progressing from loops and conditionals to variables, functions and training their own AI classifiers.
Each kit is designed for a group of up to 4 students and comes with 379 LEGO bricks plus the most advanced hardware set in the Computer Science & AI range: a double motor, a single motor, a colour sensor and a controller. Lessons are built to fit within a single class period, and teachers get a complete Teacher Portal with lesson plans, classroom presentations and facilitation notes – no prior coding or AI experience needed.
