Take your team into unexplored lands with Risky Adventure, an exciting adventure and strategy board game designed by Anthony Rubbo and published by Queen Games. Each player leads a team of three adventurers on a quest to discover valuable artifacts, collect useful equipment, explore mysterious locations, and earn fame.
The challenge comes from deciding what you want to achieve before rolling the dice. Players place their adventurers at selected locations and then roll the custom dice, hoping to obtain the combinations required to claim equipment, uncover artifacts, or progress on an expedition. Careful risk assessment, clever use of equipment, and a little luck can make the difference between a successful expedition and a missed opportunity.
Combining dice rolling, push-your-luck decisions and set collection, Risky Adventure offers an accessible yet strategic experience for families and board-game enthusiasts. Designed for 2–4 players, it typically takes around 45 minutes and is recommended for players aged 8 years and above.
- Adventure & Exploration Theme: Lead three adventurers through excavations and expeditions while searching for rare artifacts and fame.
- Push-Your-Luck Gameplay: Decide where to place your adventurers before rolling, adding risk and suspense to every turn.
- Custom Dice Rolling: Roll four special dice featuring food, map, and pick & shovel symbols to complete different objectives.
- Multiple Ways to Progress: Obtain equipment, discover artifacts and advance along expedition routes.
- Strategic Equipment System: Collect equipment cards that can help with excavations and provide useful expedition bonuses.
- Set Collection Mechanics: Gather valuable artifacts and treasure maps to improve your scoring opportunities.
- Family-Friendly Strategy Game: Straightforward gameplay with meaningful tactical choices, suitable for ages 8+.
- 2–4 Player Gameplay: Great for family game nights, friends and small gaming groups.
- Designed by Anthony Rubbo: Published by Queen Games and originally released in 2016.
