Simple machines, brought to life for toddlers. The Step2 STEM Discovery Ball Table combines a belt-and-pulley system, hand cranks, a ball funnel with ramps and a side flipper. Children place play balls at the base of the tower, crank them up to the top and watch them roll back down into the basin, a hands-on introduction to movement, force and cause and effect.
Grabbing and placing the balls builds fine and gross motor skills, and the raised stand-and-play table lets several toddlers play together. It works with or without water, is compact enough to move between indoors and outdoors, and has a non-leak drain plug. In the box: ball table, 4 legs, ramp, belt and pulley system, 1 flipper, 10 play balls and assembly hardware. Assembled size is approximately 77 cm H x 71 cm W x 76 cm D, suitable from 2 years, with adult assembly required.
